SYSTRA TO CREATE A DIGITAL CENTRE IN HYDERABAD, INDIA

SYSTRA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian state of Telangana for the establishment of an Advanced Centre for Digital Design and Construction Project Management in Hyderabad, the state capital and largest city.

The SYSTRA Digital Centre (SDC) will aim to employ young engineering talent over the next few years with the main objective of developing digital tools for design production optimisation and efficient project management services focusing on Generative Design and Design Automation which will not only increase productivity but also reduce costs.

Hyderabad: the ideal location for the SYSTRA Digital Centre
Hyderabad provides a large talent pool of engineers across all disciplines and is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in southern India where some of the world’s top IT firms and their R&D centres are located.

In addition to signing an MoU with the Government of Telangana for establishing an Advanced Centre, SYSTRA prepared the concepts to pioneer Smart Mobility Solutions for the Government of Telangana, Government of Maharashtra and MMRDA focusing on designing and implementing Smart, Innovative, and Sustainable Urban Transport solutions in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities such as:
  • Energy Transition Plans for Cities: Promoting carbon neutrality by focusing on Green Electric Vehicles.
  • Establishment of a Digital Urban Mobility Platform: Creation of a Digital Platform where all the urban mobility-related data is stored in a digital and graphical format using big data sources and GIS-based platforms.
  • Promoting MaaS in urban centres: Mobility as a service, integration of various forms of transportation services into a single mobility service, offers a host of benefits to end users such as a single application to provide access to mobility, with a single payment channel instead of multiple ticketing and payment transactions. For SYSTRA, MaaS is a mobility management tool to respond to the economic equation between supply and demand and to promote social and territorial cohesion.
